Westminster College paced the way in the Greater Louisville Classic this past weekend, edging out three other St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference programs in the race. Westminster finished 21st in the field; ahead of Spalding University, 21st, Webster University, 25th, and Fontbonne University, 39th.
Westminster finished with a team time of 1:49:34, an average of 21:54. Brier SKogsberg led the Blue Jays with a time of 20:08, placing 59th overall. Spalding's team finished with a team time of 1:46:15, an average of 21:18. Jenna Johnston was the top finisher for the Golden Eagles with a time of 20:32, good for 100th in the field. Webster completed the course in a total team time of 1:48:19, an average of 21:39. Valerie Martin led Webster, finishing 20th overall, with a time of 19:29. Fontbonne's team finished in a time of 2:01:42, averaging 24:20 among their runners. Olivia Begs was the top finisher for Fontbonne, finishing 94th with a time of 20:29.
