    Four programs from the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference received recognition from the American Volleyball Coaches Association for their academic success, receiving the Team Academic Award.

    Four Eureka College student-athletes have received All-American Athlete of the Year awards from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Eureka College Strength and Conditioning Coach Matt Friend announced Friday.

  • MacMurray Inducts Four Into Highlander Hall of Fame

    MacMurray College inducted four alumni into the college's Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday evening at a ceremony held on campus. Edward Kowalczyk, class of 2002, the late Kelsey Vaughn-Turner, class of 2007, Kimberly (Ryan) Byers, class of 2007, and Tobias Alaribe, Jr., class of 2012, were honored for their years as Highlanders.

    Five student-athletes from the sports of men's basketball, men's soccer and volleyball were inducted into the Webster University Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2018 in a ceremony Saturday night in the Sunnen Lounge in the University Center on the Webster University campus.

  • Webster Announces 2018 Hall of Fame Class

    Webster University and Director of Athletics, Scott Kilgallon, are pleased to announce five Gorlok greats as the newest members of its Athletics Hall of Fame.  The 2018 inductees include; two of the top sharp-shooters and scorers in Webster men's basketball history, a midfielder for men's soccer who solidified the young program plus a defender who helped make it a perennial conference contender, and a volleyball player who led the Gorloks to the school's first SLIAC Championship, while making that program a perennial conference power as well.

    The women's volleyball team was handed a three-set loss by Millikin in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division III regional at Illinois Wesleyan's Shirk Center on Thursday. Greenville fell by a 25-10, 25-15, 25-9 final score.

    The Greenville women's volleyball team has been placed in the Bloomington regional, hosted by Illinois Wesleyan University.  The Panthers qualified for their fourth NCAA national tournament and third consecutive by winning the championship of the SLIAC tournament.

Among other honorees receiving awards this fall are her teammate Anna Finch, for Newcomer of the Year; Mia Gill from Principia College for Defensive Player of the Year; and Westminster College coach Natalia Koryzna and Principia College coach Mary Ann Sprague as Co-Coach of the Year.

    The Greenville University Women’s Volleyball Team went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic July 26 – August 2. The team did many exciting and fun things while on the trip. Many of the girls had never been out the country or on a plane before their adventure.
