Principia To Partner With Rawlings

The Principia College Baseball Team has signed a three year deal with Rawlings Sporting Goods Co., Inc. that will last through the 2019 season. "Welcome to the Rawlings family," Rawlings team sales representative, Dan Bieg said in an email to head coach Chris Marstonconfirming the good news.

Under the new deal, Rawlings is the official game day uniform, bat, batting helmet, and catchers gear provider for the Panthers.  The deal provides significant savings and a branded uniform look for the program. "This deal is a huge step for the program.  Rawlings is a major name in baseball and we are proud to be associated with them," head coach Chris Marston said.

Town and Country-based Rawlings is the official ball supplier and batting helmet of the MLB.  They work with a significant number of Division I baseball programs.  Virginia, Tulane, Missouri State, and NC State are several of the top tier programs. 

"Our new partnership with Rawlings is an exciting opportunity to be partnering with one of the storied names in baseball." Director of Athletics Lee Ellis said.
