Pedro Rodriguez was a four-year letter winner on the Highlanders men's soccer team from 1990-93. He was named First Team All-SLIAC all four years and also earned SLIAC Player of the Year honors in 1991, 1992 and 1993. In addition to his Conference honors, Rodriguez was named Third Team All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) in both his junior and senior seasons. Rodriguez also earned All-Region honors all four years.
At the time of his induction into the MacMurray College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2001, Rodriguez held six school records in men's soccer. He held career records for goals (62) and assists (61), single-season records for assists (23) and points (60), and single-game records for goals (5) and points (15). His 15 points in a single game (vs. Parks on October 6, 1992) still ranks in the Top 10 in NCAA Division III. Rodriguez's time as a Highlander marks the most successful four years in MacMurray men's soccer history, as they posted an overall record of 54-21-5.
