Webster Receiving Votes In Golf Coaches Poll (Sept. 29, 2018)
Webster University received 10 votes in this week's first Bushnell Golfweek Division III Coaches' Poll that is compiled by the Golf Coaches Association of America and was released Friday.....MORE

Annual Webster Dig Pink Match on Wednesday (Oct. 2, 2018)
The Webster University volleyball team will host its 10th annual Dig Pink® match on Wednesday, Oct. 3 when the Gorloks welcome its Big Bend Avenue rivals Fontbonne University for a 7 p.m. St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match inside Grant Gymnasium on the Webster University campus.....MORE

AROUND THE SLIAC

Blackburn College

The Beavers women's soccer team had their ttwo-gamewinning streak snapped in a loss to Principia last weekend. The Beavers will face Greenville on the road and host Spalding in conference games this week. 

Eureka College

After spending 14 days away from their home court the Eureka volleyball team returns to the Reagan for three matches this week. The Red Devils played eight matches in six different cities through three states over their last two weeks on the road. They will host Blackburn, Iowa Wesleyan, and Principia this week in their return home.

Fontbonne University

The Fontbonne women's basketball team has announced the date for their annual Mouse Races. The Griffins will hold the event on October 20th in the Dunham Student Activity Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the first race at 7 p.m. For more information click HERE

Greenville University

Greenville senior midfielder Dani Pearce had quite the week on the pitch, tallying six goals in two games. Pearce had back-to-back hat-tricks in the Panthers two wins. She now has 10 goals and three assists for 23 points this season, ranking second in the SLIAC in scoring.

Iowa Wesleyan University

Sierra Howardson has quickly made a name for herself as a Tiger, earning Iowa Wesleyan September Student-Athlete of the Month honors. Howardson, a freshman, picked up two SLIAC Player of the Week awards during the month.

MacMurray College

The MacMurray men's soccer team snapped a five-game losing streak with a 1-1 draw against Coe on Tuesday afternoon. The Highlanders tallied the tying goal in the 32nd minute off the foot of Edgar Castillo. Highlander keeper Brantley Estes came up with a diving save on a penalty kick with just 26-seconds left on the clock to keep the game even and finished with nine stops.

Principia College

The Principia women's soccer team recorded their first win of the season last Saturday, defeating Blackburn 4-0 on the road. The Panthers scored two goals in each half, receiving two goals from Sarai Marcano and one goal from both Maddie Wann and Brittany Ouellette. Hannah Hathaway made five saves in recording the shutout.

Spalding University

Kelsey Phillips set a Spalding school record during her race last weekend in the Greater Louisville Classic. Phillips completed the 5K course in a time of 19:47, finishing 21st out of 346 runners. The time sets a new program mark for that distance. 

Webster University

The Webster golf team continues their strong fall with a first-place team finish in the Dan Quayle Collegiate Classic. The Gorloks posted a two-day score of 582, the lowest 36 hole score in a tournament in program history.

Westminster College

The Westminster volleyball team remains atop the SLIAC standings after defeating Spalding 3-1 on Saturday. The Blue Jays are now 8-1 in conference action and 10-5 overall. They will host MacMurray on Wednesday night before heading to Eureka on Friday for conference matches against Principia and Iowa Wesleyan.
