Feehan Takes Home Top SLIAC Award (Feb. 22, 2018)
Shea Feehan can add to his long list of accomplishments for the Eureka Red Devils, taking home the 2017-18 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year award. Feehan, who has his name scattered throughout the Red Devils record book, becomes the fourth player in program history to take home the conference's top individual award.....MORE

Reneau Name SLIAC Player of the Year (Feb. 23, 2018)
Hayley Reneau headlines the list of award winners for the 2017-18 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball season. Joining her on the list of individual award winners are Grace Archambault and Roy Mulholland.....MORE

SLIAC Pair on Team of the Week (Feb. 28, 2018)
A pair of SLIAC players were named to the Team of the Week. Iowa Wesleyan's Joseph Belarde and Spalding's Jimi Keating earned national honors for their outstanding games last week.....MORE

Blackburn College

Blackburn men's basketball had a big weekend, making a run in the tournament and receiving several conference awards. The Beavers, appearing in their first SLIAC Tournament since 2006, advanced to the championship game after winning their third straight overtime game. Beavers head coach Steve Kollar was named Co-Coach of the Year while Malcolm Scott and Karson Hayes both earned All-Conference honors and Nigel Ferrell was named to the All-Defensive Team.

Eureka College

Eureka College basketball swept the SLIAC Player of the Year awards. Shea Feehan was named the top men's basketball player after averaging 30.6 points per game, second most in D3 this season. Hayley Reneau was named the Women's Basketball Player of the Year after leading the conference in both scoring and steals. 

Fontbonne University

Fontbonne baseball swept its home-opening doubleheader on Sunday, defeating Dominican 3-2 and Chicago 7-4. The Griffins are now 3-2 overall this season and face Illinois Wesleyan in a home doubleheader on Friday.

Greenville University

The Greenville men's basketball team captured the 2018 SLIAC Tournament title with a 126-119 win over Blackburn. The Panthers will be headed to the NCAA Division III National Tournament for the first time in program history after earning the conference's automatic bid. Greenville will face Augustana (Ill.) on Friday in the opening round. 

Iowa Wesleyan University

The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Team was announced this morning and Iowa Wesleyan University's Darby Massner was named to First Team Academic All-District® as a representative of District 8 which is made up of twenty-one states and Canada. She is the lone student-athlete from the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference to earn the honor this season.

MacMurray College

MacMurray College inducted four alumni into the Highlander Hall of Fame last week during a ceremony held on campus. Edward Kowalczyk (baseball), Kelsey Vaughn-Turner (volleyball), Kimberly Byers (volleyball), and Tobias Alaribe Jr. (football) were honored for their Highlander careers.

Principia College

Principia placed three players on the All-Conference team this season; Parker Davidson and Micah Paulson were both named Second Team All-Conference while TreVaughn Goodman earned Third Team All-Conference honors. In addition, Davidson was also named to the All-Defensive Team.

Spalding University

Jimi Keating struck out a school-record 18 batters and Joe Hatcher hit a walk-off single to push Spalding past Aurora, 1-0, in a historic pitchers dual late Sunday evening in Louisville, Ky. Spalding racked up 22 team strikeouts, tied for third-most in NCAA Division III history. The Golden Eagles set the NCAA record with 26 single-game strikeouts March 29, 2015, in a 5-4 win over Westminster.

Webster University

The Webster women's basketball team won their third SLIAC Tournament title in program history with a 63-61 win over Westminster in the 2018 championship game. The Gorloks' Taylor Lucas was named Tournament MVP after scoring 25 points in the championship game. Webster will face Wartburg on Friday in the opening round of the NCAA Division III National Tournament. 

Westminster College

The Westminster women's basketball team had a historic run in the SLIAC Tournament last weekend. The Blue Jays became just the second #4 seed in tournament history to advance to the SLIAC Tournament Championship game. The Blue Jays fell just short in the title game, 63-61, and finish their season with a 15-12 record.
