SLIAC Night With Saint Louis FC (March 9, 2017)
Join the fun and get your tickets to the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Night with Saint Louis FC on Friday, June 2nd. This is an open event and the SLIAC welcomes all fans, coaches, students, athletes, and administrators from around the conference for the inaugural fundraising event. Saint Louis FC is a professional soccer club that is a member of the United Soccer League and is in its third year of existence.....MORE

SLIAC Announces 2016-17 Winter All-Academic Team (March 9, 2017)
The 2016-17 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Winter All-Academic Team includes 61 student-athletes from around the conference, the second straight year at least 60 student-athletes have earned the honor.....MORE

The Blackburn men's soccer team will host a one day exposure camp on Saturday, March 25 on the Blackburn campus. The camp will begin at 11 a.m. on the soccer field and is open to high school juniors and seniors. Cost for the camp is just $15. To register for the camp go to:
Eureka College sophomore guard Shea Feehan picked up another honor, as he was named to the All-Central Region Third Team. Feehan averaged 26.7 points per game and set program records with 173 free throws made and a .930 free throw percentage. Additionally, Feehan finished the campaign with 641 points, second-most in a season in program history. He scored 30 points or more nine times, including a 40-point outburst in the Red Devils' Nov. 27 win over Monmouth.
The Griffins baseball team recorded their first double header sweep of the season when they took down Elmhurst 10-7 and 13-3 in a pair of games last Friday. Ryan Schocker finished went 3-for-5 with three RBI in the first game while Cole Lankford picked up the win on the mound. In game two the Griffins rallied from a 3-0 deficit as Levi Earnest recorded the win. Ben Greenway drew six walks on the day, scoring four times while Patrick Shuff finished 5-for-8 at the plate.
After defeating Northwestern (Minn.) 70-55 in the NCCAA North Central Region Championship the Greenville women's basketball team  will now  The Panthers will now head to the NCCAA National Tournament in Winona Lake, Indiana. The tournament will run from March 15-18 and among the other teams in the field are Bluefield College, Crowley's Ridge College, Emmanuel College, Grace College, Mid-American Christian University, Roberts Wesleyan College, and Southwestern Christian University. Greenville is the #4 seed and will face Southwestern Christian at 12 p.m. on Wednesday.

Iowa Wesleyan senior guard Steven Soukup has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Division III All-District Central First Team. Soukup averaged 26.5 points per game, shooting 61-percent from the floor. He also averaged 5.8 rebounds per game and finished second on the team in assists with 53 and led the team in steals with 24.

The Highlanders baseball team wrapped up their trip to Florida this week by splitting four games. They started the week with wins over Carroll and North Park before falling to Scranton and Bethel. The Highlanders are currently 7-5 on the season and will jump into conference action this weekend with a three game series against Spalding in Louisville, Ky.

Principia's Nate Richards placed 5th at the NCAA Division III Indoor Nationals, earning All-American status. Richards finished the 5000 meter race in a time of 14:30.09, bettering his previous personal best by nearly seven seconds. Richards and the rest of the Principia track and field team begin their outdoor season on March 24 in the Falcon Classic held in Montevallo, Ala.

The Spalding baseball team went 2-2 in the Russmatt Central Florida Invitational last week including a win over #25 ranked Concordia-Chicago. Kyle Olliges picked up the win for Spalding in the game, going nine innings and allowing just six hits while recording a shutout. He also struck out 10 batters while walking none on his way to earning SLIAC Pitcher of the Week honors. 

The Webster softball team opened their 2017 season by winning their first 10 games of the year. That marked the program's best start since the 2000 season when they opened up with 21 straight wins. The Gorloks are now 12-4 overall this season after returning from the PFX Games in Clermont, Florida. The Gorloks will play in the Washinton University Invitational next weekend (March 24 & 25) with games against Coe, Wartburg, and WashU.
Westminster College senior forward Andrea Zalis capped her four years by being named to the 2016-17 All-Central Region Second Team. Zalis was the lone representative of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and is the first honoree from the conference to be named to the All-Region team since Caty Eeten, of Eureka, earned the honors in 2013-14.
