Principia College's Hanna Mehring, a freshman from Malibu, Calif., has been named the SLIAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of October 22-28.

Mehring, a midfielder, scored the game-winning goal as the Panthers defeated Maryville University (Mo.) 2-0 last week in non-conference action. She also added one goal and one assist in Principia's 4-0 victory versus MacMurray.

Maryville University's Kendria Boddie, a sophomore from Edwards, Ill. (Dunlap), has been named the SLIAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of October 15-21

Boddie, a goalkeeper, recorded three shutouts last week to help the Saints extend their win streak to six games, including four consecutive shutouts. She finished with nine saves for the week, including seven saves on 22 shots faced in a 1-0 non-conference victory versus Webster University.

Greenville College's Natalie Lappe, a senior from Greenville, Ill., has been named the SLIAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of October 8-14.

Lappe, a midfielder, had five goals and three assists in three games played last week, including game-winning goals versus both Eureka College and Fontbonne University. She recorded a hat trick with three goals and one assist in a 8-3 win versus Eureka. She then had one goal and one assist as the Panthers defeated Fontbonne 2-1. Lappe also added one goal and one assist in a 3-0 shutout versus non-conference opponent Bethany College (Kan.).

Lappe, who is among the conference leaders with 22 goals and seven assists this season, currently has a 14-game scoring streak, including at least one goal versus every SLIAC team the Panthers have faced thus far.

Maryville University's Amy Klein, a sophomore from Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. (Assumption), has been named the SLIAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of October 1-7.

Klein scored the game-winning goal in Maryville's 2-1 conference victory versus Webster University. She then added two goals, including the game-winner, in a 3-2 Saints victory on the road at Greenville College.

Klein's two goals versus Greenville tied her individual game high. She also has recorded a personal season-best seven goals this season.

Principia College's Jennai Taylor, a senior from Claremont, Calif. (Flintridge Prep), has been named the SLIAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of September 24-30.

Taylor scored the game-winning goal in a 3-2 Principia victory versus Maryville University (Mo.) on the road. The win kept the Panthers undefeated in conference play at 3-0.

Taylor currently leads Principia in goals (11), assists (6) and points (28).

Webster University's Christy Capkovic, a freshman from St. Louis, Mo. (Mehlville), has been named the SLIAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of September 17-23.

Capkovic scored three goals, including the game-winner in a 7-0 Gorlok victory versus Westminster College (Mo.). She added four more goals, including the game-winner, and two assists in an 8-1 win versus Greenville College to help Webster remain undefeated at 8-0 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

Capkovic, who finished the week with seven goals, two assists and 16 points, currently has 10 goals, nine assists and 29 points on the season.

Webster University's Megan Niederschulte, a freshman from St. Louis, Mo. (Pattonville), has been named the SLIAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of September 10-16.

Niederschulte, a forward, scored the first two goal, including the game-winner, as the Gorloks defeated Fontbonne University 3-1. She then had a hat trick and assisted on two goals in a 12-0 Webster victory versus MacMurray College. Finally, Niederschulte added one goal in the Gorloks' 3-0 victory versus Nebraska Wesleyan University.

In three games played Niederschulte finished with six goals, two assists and 14 points.

Eureka College's KT Zapushek, a sophomore midfielder/forward from Metamora, Ill., has been named the SLIAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of September 3-9.

Zapushek scored the first goal and first hat trick in Eureka soccer's brief history. She netted the game-winning goal in the 64th minute versus Rockford College to break a 4-4 tie and give the Red Devils their first ever win.

In two games played, Zapushek finished with five goals, two assists and 12 points.

Aug 27-Sep 2 Kelsey McClure Webster So Columbia, Mo./Hickman

Webster University's Kelsey McClure, a sophomore from Columbia, Mo. (Hickman), has been named the SLIAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of August 27-September 2.

McClure, a forward and last season's SLIAC Newcomer of the Year, led the Gorloks to a 2-0 record last weekend with four goals and two assists total. She had one goal and two assists in Webster's 3-2 season-opening victory versus Millikin University. McClure then recorded her first hat trick of the season with three goals in a 6-0 victory against North Park University.
