    The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference would like to congratulate the 193 student-athletes earning 2018 All-Academic honors. Athletes from baseball, men's golf, softball, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's track and field were recognized. In order to be eligible, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore, have been at their institution for one year, and hold a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or above.

    Four players from the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference have landed on the 2018 National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region team. Earning honors this year are Kate Jolliff-Rosado, Brooke Laidley, Katie Price, and Jordyn Weiland.
  • Greenville Season Ends Against Franklin

    The third NCAA tournament appearance for the softball team ended on Saturday with a 10-0 four and a half inning loss to Franklin.  The Panthers saw their tournament schedule postponed on Friday due to rain, but the tournament organizers brought forward a new schedule that extended play to Monday.

    The Greenville University softball team has been placed in the NCAA regional hosted by Hope in Holland, Mich.  The Panthers qualified for their third straight NCAA national tournament by winning the championship of the SLIAC tournament on Saturday.

  • McIlwain Sets Tigers Strikeout Mark

    Iowa Wesleyan University hosted Webster University in their final games of the season last night. The Tigers were hoping to end the season on a high note, and although IW could not end the season with wins, Samantha McIlwain capped her senior year by breaking the IW career strikeout record.  Iowa Wesleyan dropped both games to the Gorloks by scores of 3-1 and 12-0.

    One year ago Fontbonne University, Greenville University, Webster University, and Westminster College met in the SLIAC Softball Tournament. This weekend the same four teams will meet once again to claim the conference's automatic qualifier spot in the NCAA Division III Championship.

    The Eureka College softball team made big strides Tuesday in the race for a St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament bid, sweeping a critical league doubleheader from Webster in Eureka. The Red Devils walked off with a 6-5 win in eight innings in game one and Kali George (East Peoria, Ill./East Peoria H.S.) set a new all-time Eureka record for wins in the nightcap with her 46th career triumph in EC's 4-2 win.

This year, Pat McCoy (men's basketball), Kate Evers (softball, women's basketball, track and field), Meghan Mulvihill-Taylor (women's basketball) and Kendra Schilli (women's soccer, women's basketball) will join the Hall of Fame on Saturday, May 12th.
