OFFENSE
Clint Carder (Webster)
Webster University's Clint Carder, a junior from St.
Louis, Mo. (DeSoto), has been named the Men's Soccer Offensive
Player of the Week for the week of October 24-30.
Carder, a 5-10 forward, led the Gorloks offensively in their 2-0 victory versus Blackburn College, a game that both teams needed to win to gain entry into the SLIAC Tournament. Carder setup Webster's goal at the 68:46 mark with a cross to teammate Agustin Villalba, who scored to put Webster ahead 1-0. Carder then secured the victory with a goal of his own at the 81:43 mark, marking his sixth goal of the season.

DEFENSE
Alex Cupp (Webster)
Webster University's Alex Cupp, a senior from St. Louis,
Mo. (Lutheran South), has been named the Men's Soccer Defensive
Player of the Week for the week of October 24-30. It marks the
third time this season that he has earned the honor.
Cupp played all 90 minutes in goal and recorded the shutout in a 2-0 win over Blackburn College that secured a spot for the Gorloks in the 2011 SLIAC Tournament. Cupp had an exceptional first half, making several sprawling saves and tallying seven of his nine total saves for the game. The shutout was Cupp's third of the season and lowered his goals-against average to 0.97.

OFFENSE
Cody Halstead (Eureka)
Eureka College's Cody Halstead, a senior from Peoria, Ill.
(Richwoods), has been named the Men's Soccer Offensive Player of
the Week for the week of October 17-23. This marks the second time
this season that he has earned the honor.
Halstead, a 5-6 forward, scored two goals and added an assist for the Red Devils in a split of two SLIAC matches last week. He tallied Eureka's lone goal on a penalty kick in a 4-1 loss to Blackburn College. Halstead then recorded an assist and scored the game-winning goal in a 4-1 victory versus Spalding University.

DEFENSE
Steve Beam (Greenville)
Greenville College's Steve Beam, a junior from St. Louis,
Mo. (DeSmet), has been named the Men's Soccer Defensive Player of
the Week for the week of October 17-23.
Beam, a 6-0 defender, anchored a Panther defense that posted two shutouts last week in conference play over Webster University, 1-0, and Fontbonne University, 1-0. The two shutouts marked the third and fourth consecutive shutouts for Greenville, who now stands at 6-1 in SLIAC play.

OFFENSE
David Dunlop (Greenville)
Greenville College's David Dunlop, a senior from
Coleraine, North Ireland, has been named the Men's Soccer Offensive
Player of the Week for the week of October 10-16. This marks the
second time this season that he has earned the honor.
Dunlop, a 6-0 forward, recorded four goals and one assist for a total of nine points in three games played last week. His lone assist came in a 2-1 win on the road at Ohio-Mid Western. Dunlop then scored two goals each in an 8-0 win versus Blackburn College and an 8-0 win versus Eureka College.

OFFENSE
Wes Miller (Spalding)
Spalding University's Wes Miller, a senior from
Louisville, Ky. (Male), has been named the Men's Soccer Offensive
Player of the Week for the week of October 3-9.
Miller, a 6-0 forward, scored three goals and tallied one assist in two games played last week. He had one goal and one assist in a 4-3 loss to MacMurray College. Miller also added two goals in a 3-2 loss to Blackburn College.

DEFENSE
Alex Cupp (Webster)
Webster University's Alex Cupp, a senior from St. Louis,
Mo. (Lutheran South), has been named the Men's Soccer Defensive
Player of the Week for the week of October 3-9. This marks the
second consecutive week that he has earned the honor.
Cupp, a 5-9 goalkeeper, won his third straight game in goal, facing 11 shots, making six saves and allowing one goal in a 4-1 victory versus Knox College. The lone goal came on a shot from 20 yards out that snuck under the crossbar and just out of reach of Cupp's outstretched fingers. Cupp now has a 0.93 goals-against average on the season.

David Dunlop (Greenville)
Greenville College's David Dunlop, a senior from
Coleraine, North Ireland, has been named the Men's Soccer Offensive
Player of the Week for the week of September 26-October 2.
Dunlop, a 6-0 forward, recorded four goals and one assist for a total of nine points in two games played last week. He scored two goals, including the game-winning goal in a 2-1 overtime victory against Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Dunlop added two goals and one assist in a 9-0 win versus Spalding University.

Player of the Week for the week of September 26-October 2.
Cupp, a 5-9 goalkeeper, recorded his second shutout of the season with a 5-0 victory versus Eureka College. He now has a 0.93 goals-against average for the season.

Josh Schulz (Fontbonne)
Fontbonne University's Josh Schulz, a sophomore from
Florissant, Mo. (McLuer North), has been named the Men's Soccer
Offensive Player of the Week for the week of September 19-25.
Schulz, a 5-8 forward, scored three goals and tallied two assists for a total of eight points in two games played last week. He had the Griffins' lone goal in a 1-1 double overtime draw versus Culver-Stockton College. Schulz then recorded two goals and two assists to lead Fontbonne to a 5-0 SLIAC victory against Eureka College.

OFFENSE
Chris Walker (Blackburn)
Blackburn College's Chris Walker, a senior from
Carlinville, Ill., has been named the Men's Soccer Offensive Player
of the Week for the week of September 12-18.
Walker, a 6-3 forward, recorded two goals and four assists in an 11-1 victory versus Lincoln Christian University. He had four of Blackburn's five total assists for the game. The Beavers also tallied a shutout last week; a 7-0 win against Robert Morris University-Springfield.

DEFENSE
Brandon Stollies (Blackburn)
Blackburn College's Brandon Stollies, a freshman from
Springfield, Ill., has been named the Men's Soccer Defensive Player
of the Week for the week of September 12-18.
Stollies, a defender, started in two games last week for the Beavers and helped anchor a backfield that recorded a shutout and allowed only one goal. Blackburn shutout Robert Morris University-Springfield, 7-0, before dominating Lincoln Christian University with an 11-1 victory.

OFFENSE
Cody Halstead (Eureka)
Eureka College's Cody Halstead, a senior from Peoria, Ill.
(Richwoods), has been named the Men's Soccer Offensive Player of
the Week for the week of September 6-11.
Halstead, a forward, scored in each of Eureka's games last week. He had the game-winning goal in the 80th minute of the Red Devils 4-3 victory over Knox College. Halstead also had the lone goal in Eureka's 3-1 loss to Rockford College.

Samuel Thomas (Principia)
Principia College's Samuel Thomas, a senior from
Chesterfield, Mo. (The Principia School), has been named the Men's
Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week of September
6-11.
Thomas, a goalkeeper, recorded 19 saves in 189 minutes in goal last week. He helped Principia battle nationally ranked No. 7 Washington University-St. Louis into overtime, but the Panthers eventually fell 1-0. He finished the game with a 12 saves. Thomas added seven saves and recorded the shutout in a 2-0 victory versus LeTourneau University.

OFFENSE
Karl Tooren (MacMurray)
MacMurray College's Karl Tooren, a senior from Hoffman
Estates, Ill., has been named the Men's Soccer Offensive Player of
the Week for the week of September 1-5.
Tooren, a forward, led the Highlanders to a season-opening victory versus Lincoln Christian University, 10-0. He scored five goals in the win, while also tallying two assists. MacMurray also lost a hard-fought battle to Knox College, 5-4, over the weekend. Tooren recorded one assist in the loss.

DEFENSE
Andrew Trombley (Spalding)
Spalding University's Andrew Trombley, a freshman from
Elizabethtown, Ky. (Central Hardin), has been named the Men's
Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week of September
1-5.
Trombley, a goalkeeper, recorded the victory and shutout in his collegiate debut for the Golden Eagles. Spalding defeated Culver-Stockton 1-0. Trombley tallied four saves in 90 minutes in goal.
