Saturday, February 25, will go down in Westminster College history as A GREAT TO BE A BLUE JAY. Joe James made a buzzer beater to lift the Blue Jay men past MacMurray College 58-56 in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) men’s basketball tournament final in St. Louis. And, then the Blue Jay women toppled Eureka College 60-54 in Fulton to claim the women’s title.
