Ryan Martinez (Webster)
Webster University's Ryan Martinez, a junior from Normal,
Ill. (Illinois Valley CC), has been named the Diamond Sports
Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 30-May 6.
Martinez, a left-handed pitcher, made just his second start of the season and led the Gorloks to an 8-1 victory over Greenville College. After Webster lost the first two games of the conference series versus Greenville, allowing 10 runs in each game, Martinez took the mound in game three and allowed four hits, three walks and one run in 7.0 innings of work to pick up the win. The evening before, Martinez pitched 2.0 innings of relief and allowed one hit, no runs, no walks and struck out three batters.

Ken Trager (Greenville)
Greenville College's Ken Trager, a junior from Denver,
Colo. (Green Mountain), has been named the Diamond Sports Baseball
Hitter of the Week for the week of April 30-May 6.
Trager, a third baseman, went 6-for-13 at the plate with four runs scored, three RBI and one double in three games played last week. He had two hits and two RBI in an 11-1 win over Webster University. Trager then added three hits, including a double, three runs and one RBI as the Panthers defeated Webster again, this time 11-10.

Cody Hafeli (Webster)
Webster University's Cody Hafeli, a junior from Marion,
Ill., has been named the Diamond Sports Baseball Pitcher of the
Week for the week of April 23-29.
Hafeli, a left-handed pitcher, saw action in both games of a double header at Fontbonne University last week. In game one, Hafeli took the mound in relief in the fifth inning with runners on first and third, and the first batter he faced hit into a double play to get the Gorloks out of the pinch. He set down the final six Griffins in a row to pick up the 5-2 win. Hafeli started on the mound in game two and retired the first 13 batters before giving up a double in the fifth inning. He finished with two strikeouts and tallied his second of the win day as Webster won 2-1.

Alan Cheatham (Principia)
Principia College's Alan Cheatham, a senior from Rancho
Santa Fe, Calif., has been named the Diamond Sports Baseball Hitter
of the Week for the week of April 23-29.
Cheatham hit .666 at the plate and had four multi-hit games last week. He went 10-for-15 overall with 12 RBI, three doubles, two home runs and one triple. Cheatham was 3-for-4 with four RBI and one triple in Principia's 8-5 victory over MacMurray College. He then added two hits, four RBI and one home run in a 12-7 loss to the Highlanders. After recording three doubles and one RBI in a 6-4 loss to Blackburn College, Cheatham hit 2-for-4 with three RBI and one home run to help Principia defeat the Beavers 8-2.

Isaac Behme (Webster)
Webster University's Isaac Behme, a freshman from
Harrisburg, Ill., has been named the Diamond Sports Baseball
Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 16-22. This marks the
second time this season that he has earned the honor.
Behme, a left-handed hurler, shutout Spalding University 7-0 in the series opener last week. In 9.0 complete innings on the mound he struck out four batters while allowing only three hits and three walks. Webster swept the three-game series with the Golden Eagles to keep a strong hold on first place in the SLIAC. Behme improved to 4-2 overall and lowered his ERA to 1.94.

Alex Kazmierski (Webster)
Webster University's Alex Kazmierski, a junior from Orland Park,
Ill. (Carl Sandburg), has been named the Diamond Sports Baseball
Hitter of the Week for the week of April 16-22. This marks the
second time this season that he has earned the honor.
Kazmierski, an outfielder, hit .471 for the week with eight hits, five RBI, two doubles, one triple and one home run, while also posting a .591 on-base percentage in 22 plate appearances. He went 2-for-2 with one double, one RBI, two runs scored, while also drawing three walks and going 1-of-1 in stolen base attempts in the Gorloks 12-9 victory over nationally ranked #19 Washington University-St. Louis. Kazmierski went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs scored, one triple and one home run in Webster's 7-0 win versus Spalding University.

Tyler Pilcher (Greenville)
Greenville College's Tyler Pilcher, a senior from
Effingham, Ill., has been named the Diamond Sports Baseball Pitcher
of the Week for the week of April 9-15.
Pilcher, a left-handed pitcher, recorded 11 strikeouts in 7.0 innings on the mound in a 10-1 victory versus Principia College. He earned the win while allowing no runs and only one walk and two hits.

Bryan Clemmons (Spalding)
Spalding University's Bryan Clemmons, a senior from
Louisville, Ky. (Seneca), has been named the Diamond Sports
Baseball Hitter of the Week for the week of April 9-15.
Clemmons, a second baseman, went 8-for-12 (.667) at the plate in three games played last week. He was 3-for-4 with one double, one run scored, one RBI and one stolen base in a 3-1 win versus Fontbonne University. Clemmons then added four hits in four at-bats with one triple and five RBI as the Golden Eagles defeated Fontbonne 12-4. Clemmons also had one hit and two RBI in Spalding's lone loss for the week, an 8-3 loss to Fontbonne.

David Mueller (Webster)
Webster University's David Mueller, a senior from Webster
Groves, Mo. (Westminster Christian Academy), has been named the
Diamond Sports Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week of April
2-8.
Mueller, a 6-3 right-handed pitcher, threw a two-hit, complete game shutout against Blackburn College last week. He recorded a career-high 12 strikeouts and allowed no walks as the Gorloks won 10-0 in their first game of a three-game sweep over the Beavers.

Tom Henke (Webster)
Webster University's Tom Henke, a senior from St. Louis,
Mo. (Lindbergh), has been named the Diamond Sports Baseball Hitter
of the Week for the week of April 2-8.
Henke, a first baseman, hit .563 in four games played last week. He had nine hits, including four doubles and one home run, along with seven RBI. Henke went 2-for-4 with one double, one RBI and two RBI in a 10-0 victory versus Blackburn College. He also went 3-for-4 with one double, three RBI and three runs scored in a 15-1 win against Blackburn that completed a three-game sweep by the Gorloks.

Andrew Schlereth (Fontbonne)
Fontbonne University's Andrew Schlereth, a junior from
Affton, Mo., has been named the Diamond Sports Baseball Pitcher of
the Week for the week of March 26-April 1.
Schlereth, a 6-0 right-handed pitcher, started two games and posted two victories last week. He threw a complete game shutout as Fontbonne defeated Blackburn College 12-0. Schlereth struck out four batters and allowed only five hits and three walks in 7.0 complete innings on the mound. In a 10-2 win over Principia College Schlereth recorded five strikeouts and allowed five hits, three walks and two runs in 8.0 innings of work.

Nick Platipodis (Fontbonne)
Fontbonne University's Nick Platipodis, a junior from St.
Louis, Mo. (Lutheran South), has been named the Diamond Sports
Baseball Hitter of the Week for the week of March 26-April 1.
Platipodis, a third baseman, hit .700 in the Griffins three-game series versus Principia College. He went 4-for-5 with two RBI, one double and one triple in game one. Platipodis then added three RBI's in both games two and three and had two hits, including one double in game three.
Fontbonne went 4-1 last week, sweeping Principia 17-4, 6-5, 10-2, and splitting with Blackburn 0-2, 12-0.

Tyler Brown (Spalding)
Spalding University's Tyler Brown, a sophomore from
Joliet, Ill. (Joliet West), has been named the Diamond Sports
Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week of March 19-25.
Brown, a 5-11 left-handed hurler, struck out eight batters and recorded a 2-0 complete game shutout to help the Golden Eagles in their three-game sweep over Eureka College. In 7.0 innings on the mound he allowed five hits and walked only one batter as he tallied his sixth win of the season.

Alex Kazmierski (Webster)
Webster University's Alex Kazmierski, a junior from
Orange, Ill. (Carl Sandburg), has been named the Diamond Sports
Baseball Hitter of the Week for the week of March 19-25.
Kazmierski, an outfielder, had a .600 on-base percentage for the week, reaching base a total of 15 times in five games played. He went 8-for-18 (.444) at the plate with five RBI and three doubles, while also going 4-of-4 in stolen base attempts. Kazmierski's best outing for the week was a 3-for-4 performance with two RBI and two doubles in a 17-0 victory versus Principia College.

Greg Ball (Principia)
Principia College's Greg Ball, a senior from Orlando,
Fla., has been named the Diamond Sports Baseball Pitcher of the
Week for the week of March 12-18.
Ball, a right-handed pitcher, threw two complete games last week, recorded a total of 12 strikeouts and had both of Principia's victories for the week. In 7.0 innings on the mound he struckout six batters and allowed only one hit and three walks as Principia defeated SUNY-Plattsburg, 2-1. Ball posted a 5-3 win over Defiance College, allowing three hits, one walk, two earned runs and striking out six batters.

Jared Massengill (Greenville)
Greenville College's Jared Massengill, a sophomore from
Neoga, Ill., has been named the Diamond Sports Baseball Hitter of
the Week for the week of March 12-18.
Massengill, a shortstop, led the Panthers on offense at the RussMatt Invitational in Winter Haven, Fla. He went 10-for-22 at the plate in seven games played for a .455 average. He also had eight RBI, three doubles and one home run. Massengill tallied at least one hit in each game for Greenville. He went 3-for-5 with one double in a 6-5 loss to Edgewood, and he also went 2-for-4 with two doubles in a 6-2 loss to Anderson (Ind.).

Jordan Jereb (Fontbonne)
Fontbonne University's Jordan Jereb, a senior from Saint
Bede, Ill., has been named the Diamond Sports Baseball Pitcher of
the Week for the week of March 5-11.
Jereb, a right-handed hurler, allowed only two hits and one walk in 8.0 innings on the mound. He also struck out a total of six batters and recorded the win as Fontbonne defeated Millikin University, 4-0.

Cody Stevenson (Webster)
Webster University's Cody Stevenson, a junior from
Centralia, Ill., has been named the Diamond Sports Baseball Hitter
of the Week for the week of March 5-11.
Stevenson, a centerfielder, posted a .800 batting average and a .888 on-base percentage in nine plate appearances in two games played last week. He went 1-for-2 with two walks in a 1-0 loss to Wheaton College. Stevenson then recorded three hits in three at-bats, with two walks, two runs scored and one RBI in a 5-2 victory versus Ripon College. He also added two stolen bases in the win.

Isaac Behme (Webster)
Webster University's Isaac Behme, a freshman from
Harrisburg, Ill., has been named the Diamond Sports Baseball
Pitcher of the Week for the week of February 27-March 4.
Behme, a left-handed pitcher, made his first collegiate start and posted his first victory as Webster came away with a 4-0 win over Grinnell College. Behme allowed no runs and just one hit over eight innings, while striking out six batters. The win was also Webster's first shutout of the season.

Derek Ferch (Spalding)
Spalding University's Derek Ferch, a sophomore from
Louisville, Ky. (St. Xavier), has been named the Diamond Sports
Baseball Hitter of the Week for the week of February 27-March
4.
Ferch, a shortstop, went 6-for-7 at the plate with three doubles and two RBI in two games played last week. He hit a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI and one stolen base in a 6-2 victory in game one of a double header versus College of Mt. St. Joseph. Ferch then went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI as Spalding defeated Mt. St. Joseph 6-1 in game two.

Taylor Reilly (Spalding)
Spalding University's Taylor Reilly, a senior from Louisville, Ky.,
has been named the Diamond Sports Baseball Pitcher of the Week for
the week of February 20-26.
Reilly, a right-handed pitcher, went 2-0 in his first outings this season. He recorded a 1-0 victory versus Centre College, going 5.0 innings on the mound and allowing only one hit, four walks and striking out two batters. He then pitched 5.0 innings and recorded his second win of the season in a 12-0 victory versus Sewanee. Reilly struck out four, walked one and allowed three hits.
Spalding went 5-0 to start the season, sweeping Centre (6-3, 6-0) in a double header and sweeping Sewanee (6-4, 4-3, 12-0) in a three-game series.

Robbie Nickell (Principia)
Principia College's Robbie Nickell, a senior from
Minneapolis, Minn. (Robbinsdale Cooper), has been named the Diamond
Sports Baseball Hitter of the Week for the week of February
20-26.
Nickell, an outfielder and left-handed batter, hit .714 in two games played last week, including .750 with runners in scoring position, and helped lead Principia to a sweep over Rust College. He went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, one double and one sacrifice in game one's 17-2 victory. Nickell then hit 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs in a 16-1 win.
