Oct 20-26 David Dunlap Greenville Fr Colerain, North Ireland

Greenville College's David Dunlap, a freshman from Colerain, North Ireland, has been named the SLIAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of October 20-26.

Dunlap, a 5-8 forward, recorded three goals, including two game-winners, and had three assists for a total of 12 points in two games played last week. He had two goals and two assists in an 8-0 shutout versus MacMurray College. Dunlap then added one goal and one assist in a 7-3 victory over Webster University, helping the Panthers to a second place finish in the SLIAC regular season.

Maryville University's Kurt Vogelpohl, a senior from St. Louis, Mo. (Oakville), has been named the SLIAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of October 13-19.

Vogelpohl, a 5-8 midfielder, had three goals and one assist for a total of five points in two games played last week. He scored his first goal of the season on a diving header against MacMurray College, while also adding an assist in the game. Vogelpohl then scored both goals in the Saints 3-2 overtime loss to Greenville College.

Westminster College's Ryan Orf, a junior from St. Louis, Mo.  (Duchesne), has been named the SLIAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of September 29-October 5.

Orf, a 5-9 midfielder, had four goals for a total of 12 points in three games played last week. He scored the lone goal in a 5-1 loss to Columbia College and added two goals in a 3-1 victory over Harris-Stowe State University. Finally, he had one goal in a 3-0 Blue Jay win versus Monmouth College (Ill.).

Sep 22-28 Kevin Vonarx Fontbonne Jr St. Louis, Mo./St. Mary's

Fontbonne University's Kevin Vonarx, a junior from St. Louis, Mo.  (St. Mary's), has been named the SLIAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of September 22-28.

Vonarx, a 5-10 forward, recorded two goals, including one game-winning goal, and had one assist for a total of five points in two games played last week. He had one goal and an assist in a 2-1 victory versus Westminster College (Mo.). Vonarx then scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 overtime win on the road at Maryville University (Mo.), helping the Griffins start SLIAC play at 2-0.

Maryville University's Erik Roediger, a freshman from Columbia, Ill., has been named the SLIAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of September 15-21.

Roediger, a 5-11 midfielder, scored in both Saints victories last week. He recorded his first collegiate goal in Maryville's 4-0 victory versus MacMurray College. Roediger, who has played in every game this season as a freshman, added one goal in the Saints 6-0 win over Eureka College, giving Maryville their third and fourth shutout victories of the season respectively.

Sep 8-14 Brian O'Malley Eureka Jr Peoria, Ill./Notre Dame

Eureka College's Brian O'Malley, a junior from Peoria, Ill. (Notre Dame), has been named the SLIAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of September 8-14.

O'Malley, a 6-0 midfielder, recorded a game-high and school record five goals and 10 points in a 6-2 victory versus Lincoln Christian College. He had 12 shots, including eight shots on goal, while also scoring the game-winning goal and going 1-for-1 in penalty kicks.

Eureka's victory versus Lincoln Christian was the first in the program's history, ending a 20-game losing streak since the Red Devils began NCAA play in 2007. Their six goals was also a school record for goals in a game.

Greenville College's Jeff Arsenault, a freshman from Louisville, Ky. (South Oldham), has been named the SLIAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of September 1-7.

Arsenault, a 6-0 forward, had two goals, one game-winning goal and three assists in two games played last week. He scored two goals, including the game-winner, and added one assist in a 3-0 victory versus Tabor University. Arsenault then recorded two assists in an 8-0 win over Bethany College (Kan.).

Aug 29-31 Spencer Brown Principia So Camarillo, Calif./Viewpoint School

Principia College's Spencer Brown, a sophomore from Camarillo, Calif. (Viewpoint School), has been named the SLIAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of August 29-31.

Brown, a 6-1 forward, led Principia with three goals and two assists as the Panthers opened the season 2-0 at the Greenville Invitational. He had two goals, including the game-winner, and one assist in a 7-0 victory versus Robert Morris College-Springfield. Brown then added one goal and one assist in a 5-1 win over Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
