Oct 20-26 Thomas Albes Maryville (Mo.) So St. Louis, Mo./DeSmet

Maryville University's Thomas Albes, a sophomore from St. Louis, Mo. (DeSmet), has been named the SLIAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week of October 20-26.

Albes was the Saints' top finisher at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy Invitational, setting a new school record of 16:50 in the 5K race. He placed in fifth among all individual competitors. Maryville did not record a team score.

Oct 13-19 Everett Jackson Fontbonne So University City, Mo./University City

Fontbonne University's Everett Jackson, a sophomore from University City, Mo., has been named the SLIAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week of October 13-19.

Everett placed third out of 68 runners at the Illinois College Invitational. He ran a time of 27:10, breaking his own school record in the 8K by 17 seconds. Fontbonne finished second out of six teams and were only seven points behind Greenville College in first place.

Oct 6-12 Derrick McKee Webster Fr Wentzville, Mo./Timberland

Webster University's Derrick McKee, a freshman from Wentzville, Mo. (Timberland), has been named the SLIAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week of October 6-12.

McKee was the top runner from the SLIAC at the Border Wars hosted by Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. In just his second 8K race, he posted a time of 28:48 to place 100th out of 190 total runners. The Gorloks did not post a team score.

Sep 29-Oct 5 Adrian Dahlin Principia So Holyoke, Mass./Principia Upper

Principia College's Adrian Dahlin, a sophomore from Holyoke, Mass. (Principia Upper), has been named the SLIAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week of September 29-October 5.

Dahlin led a pack of three Principia runners to top ten finishes at the Warrior Invitational hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran College. He placed sixth out of 77 runners competing and helped the Panthers to their first win of the season, as the team finished first out of 10 teams.

Sep 22-28 Rodney Oyler Greenville Jr Macon, Ill./Meridian

Greenville College's Rodney Oyler, a junior from Macon, Ill. (Meridian), has been named the SLIAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week of September 22-28. This is the second time this season he has earned the honor.

Oyler ran a personal best 26:44 at the Lundeen/Brissman Invitational hosted by Augustana College (Ill.). He placed 33rd out of 343 runners competing and also helped lead the Panthers to a 13th place finish out of 38 teams.

Sep 15-21 Jeff Strickland Principia So Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif./Mission Viejo

Principia College's Jeff Strickland, a sophomore from Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif. (Mission Viejo), has been named the SLIAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week of September 15-21. This is the second time this season he has earned the honor.

Strickland took 17 seconds off his season best time by running 28:30 at the Illinois Intercollegiate Championships hosted by Illinois State University. He led Principia to a 19th place finish out of 26 teams competing and placed 129th individually out of 255 runners competing.

Sep 8-14 Seth Fankhauser Greenville Sr Hudson, Mich./Hudson

Greenville College's Seth Fankhauser, a senior from Hudson, Mich., has been named the SLIAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week of September 8-14.

Fankhauser led the Panthers at the Bradley Open by placing 59th out of 154 runners. He ran a time of 28:24 on the 8K course and led Greenville to a 10th place finish out of 17 schools, including four NCAA Division I schools.

Sep 1-7 Jeff Strickland Principia So Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif./Mission Viejo

Principia College's Jeff Strickland, a sophomore from Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif. (Mission Viejo), has been named the SLIAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week of September 1-7.

Strickland placed 74th out of 156 runners at the Madison Kiwanis Invitational hosted by Hanover College, the site of the 2008 NCAA DIII Championships. He was the top finisher for the Panthers, posting a time of 28:47 on the soft, hilly 8K course.

Aug 29-31 Rodney Oyler Greenville Jr Macon, Ill./Meridian

Greenville College's Rodney Oyler, a junior from Macon, Ill. (Meridian), has been named the SLIAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week of August 29-31.

Oyler placed 28th out of 170 runners at the Big River Running Early Bird hosted by Washington University-St. Louis. He paced the Panthers with a time of 19:59.7 on the 6K course in Forest Park. Greenville finished 10th out of 19 teams competing.
