ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) has announced the women’s basketball All-Conference Teams and award winners for the 2007-08 season.  Highlighting the award winners were Eureka College’s Nicole Fisher, Blackburn College’s Sierra Shipley and Blackburn head coach Mike Williams

Fisher is the third Eureka women’s basketball player to be named Conference player of the year in the program’ 33-year history.  Shipley is the first Beaver women’s basketball player to ever earn a major Conference regular season award (player or newcomer of the year).  Williams led the Beavers to the #4-seed in the SLIAC Tournament in his first season at the helm after being picked to finish eighth in the Conference preseason poll.
