WEBSTER TOPS PRE-SEASON COACHES' POLLS
ST. LOUIS - The Webster University baseball
and softball squads topped both pre-season coaches' polls in the St.
Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC). Both teams will look
to defend their SLIAC Regular Season and Tournament Championships from a
year ago, but it won't be easy.
The Gorlok baseball
team received eight first place votes, while Maryville University
received one first place vote. Maryville's softball squad received four
first place votes, while the Gorloks had three first place votes and
edged the Saints by just one point in the poll.
