SLIAC ANNOUNCES 2007-08 MEN'S BASKETBALL AWARD WINNERS


ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) has announced the men’s basketball All-Conference Teams and award winners for the 2007-08 season.  Highlighting the award winners were Fontbonne University’s Brian Fogerty, Greenville College’s Ben Cochran and Webster University head coach Chris Bunch

Fogerty is the third Griffin to earn SLIAC Player of the Year honors, the first since 1994-95.  Cochran is the first Panther to earn Newcomer of the Year.  Bunch led the Gorloks to the fourth unbeaten regular season in Conference history and the first 16-0 season.
