SLIAC ANNOUNCES BASKETBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK FOR WEEK OF DECEMBER 28-JANUARY 3
ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) has announced the basketball players of the week for the week of December 28-January 3.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
Principia College's Todd Zimmermann, a senior from Nashville, Tenn. (Hume-Fogg), has been named the SLIAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of December 28-January 3.

Zimmermann, a 6-2 guard, had 15 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds in Principia's 76-59 victory versus Blackburn College this past weekend. He also shot 5-of-10 (.500) from the field, 1-of-3 (.333) from behind the arc and 4-of-6 (.667) from the charity stripe.

The win was Principia's second consecutive and their first after a 20-day winter break.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Fontbonne University's Mallory Ludwig, a junior from Freeburg, Ill., has been named the SLIAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of December 28-January 3.

Ludwig, a 6-2 center, scored a team-high 21 points and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds in the Griffins 77-51 win over Eureka College. She also recorded two blocks and one steal in the game, while shooting 10-of-17 (.588) from the field.
