PROFANCIK NAMED ALL-AMERICA SCHOLAR FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla.-Maryville University men's golfer, Nick Profancik, was named a Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) for the second consecutive year. He was one of 42 golfers that received this award.

To be eligible for this award, an individual must be a junior or senior academically and compete in at least two full years at the collegiate level, participate in 70-percent of his team's competitive rounds or compete in the NCAA Championships, have a stroke average of under 79.0 in Division III and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university. (www.collegiategolf.com)

The senior actuarial science major was the top Saints finisher at six competitions this season. He has a career scoring average of 76.38, second best in program history.
