WESTMINSTER'S BUXTON, EUREKA'S GARDNER REACH 1,000-POINT PLATEAU

ST. LOUIS - Westminster College's Andrew Buxton and Eureka College's Brittany Gardner were the latest SLIAC basketball players to join the 1,000-point club at their respective schools.

Buxton, a senior guard from Wildwood, Mo. (Lafayette), scored a game-high 30 points to surpass the 1,000-point plateau in his career in leading the Westminster College men to an 89-71 victory over Principia College Wednesday in a St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men’s basketball contest in Fulton.
